Jackson Hole offers an abundance of activities and excursions year-round. In the Winter, guests can enjoy skiing at one of three ski areas surrounding Jackson, snowmobiling with a guide in Yellowstone or other wilderness areas, or cross-country skiing in the wildlife-abundant valley. Sled dog excursions have also become very popular as a daily diversion. Summertime in Jackson Hole brings warm sunshine and endless outdoor activities: hiking in the Tetons or Yellowstone Park, horseback riding and covered wagon outings, canoeing, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, and kayaking on the winding Snake River. There are two championship 18-hole golf courses and numerous tennis courts for the more traditional sports enthusiast.
