A fine example of Greek Revival architecture, and said to be the most photographed house in New York State, this historic house was built in 1845 by William T. Jackson, entrepreneur, lawyer, judge and congressman. With 25 other properties in Montour Falls, it is part of a National Historic Register District. Pictures of the house appear frequently in publications about the Finger Lakes region, and the house is featured in a two-page spread in the November 1956 "National Geographic" magazine.
